Current research activities

While teaching is the main focus of activity as related within workload allocation, I have additionally been undertaking some work in the area of Education research. The work undertaken has focussed on peer review and in particular its uses in aiding student assessment and the students understanding of how work is assessed. 

It is hoped that this work will be written up in the near future, having been presented to colleagues at an education research group meeting.

Desired research direction

Areas of research interest include: 

Interactive Television content

Animation 

Education research.

The latter of these is of particular interest with work on further uses of peer review as well as how cohorts respond to different disseminations of information and impacts upon assessment outcomes.
