Personal profile


Programme Leader on the Post Graduate Diploma and Graduate Diploma Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Occupational Health) and Practice Teacher Programmes at UWS. Both are NMC approved and to date it remain the only wholly distance learning delivered NMC approved Programmes in the UK.

Research Projects include evaluating brief intervention in employees in relation to alcohol use, workplace health and lately the education of Occupational Health Nurses evaluating online teaching versus face to face teaching methods.

My role as Lecturer /Practitioner at UWS enables me to foster best practice in occupational health when educating nurses new to the discipline while also keeping up to date in current occupational health practice giving me access to opportunities for research in the field.
