Luke Holmes is a lecturer in English Language and TESOL and his research interests are sociolinguistic in nature. His current research focuses on how different conceptualisations of ethics and responsibility relate to and are developed through social and linguistic practices in institutional settings. His interests span the sub-fields of Language Policy, Multilingualism, Linguistic Ethnography, Linguistic Anthropology, and the Sociology of Language.
