Co-author of paper submitted to SER special issue on Sustainability: Primary education students’ engagement with socio-scientific discussion as an approach to learning for sustainability
Writing paper for SER special issue on Play (submission September 2019): Play as a mode of capability development in upper primary
In the current year, I'm aiming to undertake a small research study looking at the impact of outdoor learning on the attainment gap. Have some partners who may be able to help turn this into a pilot study but proposal and funding still have to be created and secured.
Desired research direction
Broadly, studies looking at how pedagogy can help/hinder the development of the Self. This manifests most often in research into outdoor learning and play.
