Personal profile

Overview

I completed a teacher education programme in the English Department of the University of Athens, and worked in primary and secondary schools in Greece and in the UK for over ten years. I have always had an interest in psychology and spent a big part of my teaching career supporting children and young people with social, emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties. I contextualised this experience with a Master in Educational Psychology from the University of Bristol, and a PhD from the University of Warwick. My research interests lie in the areas of inclusive education, and social-emotional development and wellbeing.
