I am undertaking a part time PhD in the field of Computing/Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Learning - specifically Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).

Current research activities

part time PhD in the field of Computing/Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Learning - specifically Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL). Recently focussed on 'Internet Residency: Visitors and Residents' i.e. how much time do stuents spend online, and what are they actually doing - is it for work/studies or for personal purposes.

Desired research direction

The aim is to focus on student learning in HE using and interacting with technology. How can the process be more engaging, enjoyable and successful for students.
