Overview

I am a lecturer in Sports Coaching and Development, with an interest in pedagogies, equity, and women's health.

I teach across both coaching and development streams of the associated degree. My main areas include coaching styles, targeted provision, and sport for development.

Current research activities

I am currently working on two research projects related to the menopause. I have conducted focus groups with elite female masters athletes, to explore their experiences throughout the stages of menopause, as well as interviews with female walking footballers, to find potential links between participation and quality of life.
