Overview
I am a Lecturer in the School of Health and Life Science at UWS (2001 to date).
I am NMC Registered as a Registered Nurse and Lecturer/Practice Educator.
My previous clinical experience was in the Operating Theatre Department, then as a Pain Management Nurse Specialist.
My teaching interests include:
- Anatomy, physiology, treatment and nursing care of individuals with acute and chronic disease.
- Specialist Interest in Pain Management and Surgical care.
- Specialist interest in Health Promotion and modifiable risk factors associated with disease development.
Research interests include:
- Pain management.

Supervise MSc Adult Nursing (with Registration) Dissertations.
