Overview

I am a Lecturer in the School of Health and Life Science at UWS (2001 to date).
I am a NMC Registered Nurse and Lecturer/Practice Educator.
My clinical experience was in the Operating Department, then as a Pain Management Nurse Specialist.

My teaching interests include:

  • Anatomy, physiology, treatment and care of individuals with acute and chronic disease.
  • Specialist Interest in Pain Management and Perioperative care.
  • Specialist interest in Health Promotion and modifiable risk factors associated with disease development.

Research interests include:

  • Pain management.
