Overview

Dr Laura Lebec is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Health and Life Sciences, University of the West of Scotland. She is currently working with Dr Louise Ritchie in the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice on an Alzheimer's Society funded project developing career guidance for people diagnosed with dementia in employment. 

Prior to joining UWS Laura completed her PhD at the University of Glasgow, in which she carried out an exploratory study of organisational performance measurement in the third sector. Her research presented a novel reframing of performance measurement as an ecosystem. Laura's background lies in the third sector, where she has significant experience as a senior manager developing quality improvement and performance measurement initiatives within social care organisations. She has integrated inclusive, people-centred approaches to her work, as both practitioner and trainer.
