Personal profile
Overview
I completed my adult nursing training in 2003 and have maintained my Nursing and Midwifery Council registration ever since. I spent many years working as a Staff Nurse in an acute general surgery setting within the NHS before transitioning to community healthcare. Subsequently, I trained as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and worked as a Health Visitor. My passion for supporting students in practice led me to join the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in 2021. Currently, I work within the Adult Nursing, Community, and Health division, where I support both BSc and MSc students.
