Overview
Kirsty Price completed a Master of Philosophy at the University of Stirling in 2011 entitled 'Carbohydrate Ingestion for Skill Performance in Tennis'. From 2006-2008 Kirsty worked for the Sport Science department of the Lawn Tennis Association, prior to engaging in work as a full time Tennis Coach and Tutor. Kirsty joined the Tennis Scotland Development team in 2009 where she remained until 2015 when she began her career in lecturing.
Kirsty currently lectures on the BA Sports Coaching and Development degree at UWS in Ayr, teaching modules in the areas of Sport Science, Biomechanics, Work Placement, Coaching and Physical Activity, Health & Wellbeing.

Desired research direction
Kirsty's research interests include the adaptive response of human muscle to exercise and nutrition, as well as exercise during pregnancy.
