- Understanding how practitioners think in action (using applied cognitive techniques such as the Think Aloud protocol with athletes, coaches, referees, etc. and also those outside of sport (e.g., medics).
- The education, training and professional development of psychologists.
- Mental health literacy development for athletes, coaches and other sport support staff.
- Sport for development: A means of reducing social isolation in people with refugee status (New Scots).
