Personal profile

Overview

I am a sports, coaching & development lecturer at the Ayr campus and currently lecture in a variety of topics including sport psychology, event managment and physical activity.  I am also a previous graduate of the course which was delivered at Scotlands Rural University College (SRUC) and awarded by Glasgow Univeristy.

Additional contributions to the programme include supporting students within my role as a personal tutor and as a dissertation supervisor.  Furthermore, I have been heavily involved within both the design and delivery of the previous level 10 field course expedition that was held at sportscotland Invercylde (2019).  In addition, I was the lead academic organiser of two ERASMUS funded coaching trips to Stockholm in Sweden (2015 and 2016) for students from our previous undergardaute programme from SRUC and would be eager to support such projects in the future.

Recently I completed an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology (distance learning) from Staffordshire Univeristy (2021). I also hold a PGcert in Higher and Tertiary Education awarded by UHI and became a fellow of the higher education academy in 2017.
