Research Interest.

1. outline of expertice

I'm an economist with special interest in money, finance and econometrics. I've an extensive knowlege and experience in constructing an economeric model, estimate, test and interpret the parametrs of interest. I have also taught financial economics and econometrics at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

2. Current Work

I'm currently working on commodity (coffee) price volatility and its impact on farmers' income and foreign exchange receipts of coffe exporting countries.  I've published papers in top rated journals such as The Journal of Development Studies, Oxford Development Studies and The Journal of Developing Areas.

3. Fture Research

I'm inteested in investigating the socio-economic impact of "thermal energy" production in the Fentale region of Ethiopia. I'm part of a multi-disciplanary research group based at the University of Glasgow.
