Overview
Dr León Solís is from Andalucía, in Southern Spain. He graduated in English Language and Literature at Granada University in Spain and was later awarded a PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2001 He is Head of Languages at the University of the West of Scotland.
His research expertise falls in the field of Cultural Studies, Politics and Discourse Analysis, with a special focus on narrative constructions of national identities in the media.
