He is an Information Technology and qualified Business Model Innovation and Research professional with more than 27 years of work experience. His research interests are: Internet and Social Innovation, Web3 & Social Commerce, Digital Transformation, Disruptive Technologies, Social & Digital Society, Technology for Sustainable Development. Previously he held position of Associate Professor of Digital Business at University of the Witwatersrand's Wits Business School. Prior to joining Wits University, he was Associate Professor of Transdisciplinary Studies in the Informatics and Design Faculty at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
