Overview
Previous to my current position, I have made contributions in ECG signal processing using artificial neural networks, including signal classification and compression. Current interests include virtualisation, open source software and networking protocols at layers 2-4. I also have expertise in bicycle aerodynamics and sustainable energy.

Current research activities
While my time for research is currently limited owing to PT status, and teaching and administration duties, I am currently involved with a KTP with Kube Networks Ltd in the area of network resilience.
