Personal profile
Overview
Coming from a Community Nursing background, I am currently based in the Specialist Nursing and Midwifery team at Lanarkshire Campus, working predominantly into the post-registration Programme. My research career began with a PhD study at Glasgow Caledonian University to apply Normalisation Process Thoery to explore and explain the implementation of the CAUTI care bundle from the perspectives of participating NHS Scotland acute sector staff.
This study contributes to the qualitative evidence regarding experiences of macro, meso and micro healthcare professional implementers of the CAUTI care bundle in NHS Scotland. It has revealed the challenges and complexity of implementing CAUTI care bundle into acute clinical practice.
