Overview

I graduated at the University of Valencia on Biology, specialising in Zoology, Ecology and Water Systems. During this I did an internship in the ARCA of the Oceanografic, colaborating in the care and recovery of loggerhead turtles.

Lately, I got my MsC in Sustainable Aquaculture in the University of Stirling where for the master dissertation I used GIS to analyse the flood regime of the river Parana using MODIS images to detect the water surface.

Afterward I got experience in different fields of aquaculure, from being involved in the maintenance of the systems, and the organization of commercial aquaculture research facilities, to managing the harvest and size distribution of commercial species.

My PhD involves the research of carotenoids as natural pigment capable of increasing welfare of fish. Some specific points are:
