I have research expertise in the design and delivery of mixed methods research.

I have completed my PhD in the field of health resarch - with a focus on regualtory compliance within the field of infection control/ tattooing and body piercing industry.

I also have eavaluation and research expertise in educational research, including topics such as assessment;  progression, retention and attainment.

Current research activities

I am curently involved in educational research, as the Principal Investigator of a chort study, focusing on the issue of belongingness, and its impact/influence on progression, retention and attainment.

I am also the Director of Studies for a PhD student - whose research is focused on infection control practice - and the influence of culture on regulatory compliance.

Desired research direction

I am keen to extend my work into educational research with a focus on curriculum design and quality assurance.

I am also keen to explore research opportunities in the field of regulation, as aligned to health and social care provision.

Target collaborative companies

I would be keen to work with other higher educational instituions and wider health and social care providers.
