Overview
My research focus is on parasites of aquatic hosts and their interactions with their hosts and the environment. My approach to understanding the impacts of environmental quality and pollution exposure on parasites has mostly focused on population level alterations. These have been shown to manifest as differences in the infection biology of parasites. I have also applied various analytical methods and developed techniques to understand the effect of pollutant exposure on the physiology of parasites.
