My area of research is about cultural change in care for older people settings

Current research activities

Exploring the quality of life in care homes

Desired research direction

Contimue to attract phD students to work with the appreciative inquiry methodology to bring about change and development of practice based theory.

Develop effective and meaningful evaluation strategies for complex interventions  aimed at enhancing the quality of lives of those who receive and give care.

Develop further the use of caring conversations as a key dimension of giving and receiving compassionate care.
