Dr Ashwini Konanahalli is currently a Lecturer and Programme Leader for MSc Construction Management with Digital Engineering. Prior to joining UWS, Dr Konanahalli worked as Lecturer in Queen’s University Belfast where she also completed her PhD funded by the Department of Employment and Learning (DEL). Her PhD thesis titled “Critical factors influencing British expatriates' success” adopted a multi-criteria perspective to holistically explore various factors encountered by British expatriates specific to the AEC sector. She also brings around five years of work experience gained from handling some very prestigious and unique architectural projects in India and Northern Ireland.

Dr Konanahalli has significant experience in research and teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.

She is  a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK).
