- Integrated training methodologies at elite level
- Performance profiling and analysis in team sports
- Training load assessment and monitoring
- Applicability of technology in sport

Current teaching activities and interests

I coordinate and teach modules in the fields of Strength & Conditioning in Sports and Exercise.

The professional expertise I have gained in the last 15 years regards both team sports and individual disciplines

I have also a Biomechanics and Motion analysis background helping me in understanding the mechanical mechanisms underlying human performance

Desired research direction

In the coming years I am interested to carry out applied research projects with the main objective to produce applicable and transferable knowledge thus bridging the gaps between the evidnce-based and the best-practice approaches and helping academics and practitioners to efficiently communicate and collaborate on mutual interest and goals
