Overview

Anthony is a full-time lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland in the division of Mental Health, Midwifery and Health and a registered mental health nurse and teacher with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Anthony is currently undertaking a part-time PhD with a research focus on how student nurses make sense of their spirituality.  He has an interest in spirituality, self-care, mindfulness, staff and student support.

Anthony attends the Spirituality Scholars Network, a special interest group of the International Network for the Study of Spiritualty, and the Enhancing Nurses' and Midwives' Competence in Providing Spiritual Care through Innovative Educaiton and Compassionate Care (EPICC) Network.
