Overview
I currently teach on the pre-registration BSc Mental Health Nursing and am Depute Program Lead of the CBT Post Graduate Diploma.
Desired research direction
I am part time PhD student aiming to conduct research to explore the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with school staff.
Other areas of expertise available for knowledge exchange
In addition to working in academia I am a practicing BABCP accredited CBT therapist, I am also a registered mental health nurse with 8 years experience specialising in work with children and young people's mental health. I am interested in early intervention and prevention and as such spent time developing a mental health nursing service within a secondary school.
