I am a chartered chemical engineer leading the chemical engineering degree programmes at the Paisley campus with some research history as well as extensive teaching experience.

Area of academic expertise - outline

My original sphere of reserch was heat transfer and the fouling of heat exchangers.  More recent work has been the mass balance across composting and biomass processes.

Current research activities

Involved in the process development of microalgae cultivation for biofuels.

Desired research direction

Currently seeking supervisory work in heat transfer and biomass projects.
