Overview

Ana’s research is in the field of Performance Measurement and Management. Her research is particularly looking at studying the dynamics between organisational capabilities and business performance. It is grounded on understanding organisations as a complex socio-technical system that exist within wider ecosystems and key driving forces that shape the behaviour of the system that deliver or constrains performance. 

In her current research, Ana investigates the role of performance measurement in delivering sustainable projects. Using and collaborating ideas around system of organisational capabilities to explore their effects and influence to delivering high standard project outcomes.  A notable output of Ana's research were conference publications presented at EIASM Vienna (2015), Strategic Management Milan (2016) and British Academy of Management Newcastle (2017).
