 Discovery & optimisation of new heat & light stable chromophores for external colouration applications & formulations

 BASF, Clariant, DuPont, PPG, Gabriel Chemie. Other institutions with complimentary research areas and who have supporting techniques for testing & quantification of properties. SME’s with capability for scale up of mutually beneficial products, especially with Scotland or the UK but including China, India & the USA.

spectroscopic analysis of complex molecules

determination of the concentration of various waste products using their UV/vis absorption characteristics. Maximising the efficiency of analysis by reducing human requirements for testing at the time of a global pandemic are addressed as a part of the activity.
