Overview

In August 2016, Dr Ahmed Beloucif joined University of the West of Scotland (UWS), School of Business & Enterprise as a DBA supervisor. He is currently supervising doctoral students in multidisciplinary areas.

Previously, he worked at Aberdeen Business School, RGU (1994-2016), as lecturer/course director, where he taught management and marketing modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Beloucif also supervised and examined PhD/DBA students. For 15 years, he was involved as a course director for MSc International Business, served in different committee and acted as an external examiner. He has continuously received the Student-Led Teaching Award-‘I Love My Lecturer’-An award of excellence-in acknowledgement of the outstanding contribution to excellence in teaching and learning. Dr Beloucif is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy. His current research area expands to strategy, corporate reputation and Islamic studies (finance, marketing and entrepreneurship).
