Press/Media: Expert Comment

Description

Was interviwed by the Sunday Times on 23rd July 2021 to comment on decolonising efforts by the David Livingstone Birthplace Museum as it plans to reopen on 28th July 2021 after major refurshment to the tune of £9.1 million. I argued for the inclusion of Jacob Wainwright i, and ignored figure in historiography, when celebrating the African men of Livingstone. The piece was published on 25th July 2021. A fulller academic paper on this is being prepared.
