    An academic from University of the West of Scotland (UWS) has scooped a prestigious award at the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards – picking up the accolade of ‘Knowledge Exchange Hero’.

     

    Dr Marco Gilardi, a lecturer at the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences, picked up the award in recognition of his exceptional work through UWS’s sector-leading Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme – which ranks number one in Scotland, and within the top-five universities in the UK, for KTP portfolio size.
