Description

The UWS International Engagement week was organized and hosted by the School of Business & Enterprise. It took place from Monday 24th to Friday 28th October 2016 across Paisley and Hamilton campus. The key aims of this week-long event was to provide students from the School at all four of the University’s Scottish campuses with an opportunity to engage with academics from international partner institutions and to further raise their awareness and ambition of the opportunities international experiences can offer. All international delegates (in the region of thirteen) delivered guest lectures in their specialist academic areas to students. In particular, I was more involved in organizing seven guest lectures for undergraduates from the ‘Enterprise Creation’ module (core module of BA Business) as well as a LEGO Serious Play Innovation Lab for undergraduates from Entrepreneurial Thinking module (core module of BA Business). The Engagement Week also offered colleagues in the School with the chance to build on current links with academics from the international partners. In my case, I have been invited to visit and deliver the LEGO Serious Play Innovation Lab at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.
