Description

Our School lead a visit to Haikou University in Hainan, China. The purpose of this visit was to deliver training in Business and Enterprise themes as well as in the theme of Digital Social and Transformational Technologies. I was part of a Team of 6 including AD International (now Interim Dean) Ron Livingstone, Professor Heather Tarbert, Craig McLaughlin and two external School Business Partners.

I was leading the Digital Technology training sessions, where taught students how to use and develop live digital artefacts such as touch cast video and 360 immersive videos, with commercial applications. The students also learned how to use the internet to develop and deliver assessments.

As the second part of our visit, I was delivering training to the Provincial Educational Board, showcasing and training member of the board to develop Online module portfolios using Google Apps for Higher Education, Wix and Wordpress as well as creating the required digital artefacts for delivery such as TouchCast interactive Videos and 360 immersive videos and images.
