The UWS-Oxfam Partnership, officially established in 2012, is a long-term and ongoing collaboration between the University of the West of Scotland and Oxfam Scotland, which developed on the basis of prior research and policy development collaborations between the two organisations. This presentation outlines the origins and development of the Partnership, describes some of the key collaborations and their outputs, and provides some reflection on the experience of ‘partnership working’ over the years.

Funded by the Scottish Government the 4th 'Let's collaborate' free event, Researching Together, was organised by the Third Sector Research Forum and took place on Thursday 1st February 2018 in Edinburgh. The conference explored the theme of researching together and was attended by academics, third sector organisations and those interested in third sector research. The programme offered a variety of interactive sessions giving participants opportunities to hear from a range of researchers talking about the benefits and challenges of collaborative research.
