Description
As part of Developing the Young Workforce (DYW), Scotland, I delivered two STEM Careers Talks to Primary 5 (P5) and Primary 6 (P6) pupils at Ibrox Primary School. Each talk lasted 1 hour. The two interactive talks included hands-on activities involving problem-solving of engineering problems, such as those encountered within the Transport Sector and Civil Engineering. The theme of the talks focused on inspiring the pupils and making them aware of the career opportunities in Civil and Transport Engineering by sharing my own personal experience about how I became a qualified engineer and the qualifications that I hold.Period | 6 Nov 2019 |
