Description

The lecture is intended for the general public, in particular pupils. The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) will be introduced as echo of the Big Bang. In the lecture the experiments to observe the CMB are eliucidated and the consequences of the experimental finding highlighted. These finding determine the age of our universe but also the matter (visible and dark) and energy content (dark energy) of our universe.
