Description

Geodiversity is the variety of rocks, minerals, fossils, landforms, sediments and soils, together with the natural processes which form and alter them. The Scottish Geodiversity Forum was instrumental in establishing the Scottish Geodiversity Charter, which was endorsed by the Scottish Government. The working Group acts to further the aims of the Charter in fields such as tourism and education.
