The Reseau d’Excellence des Territoires Insulaires (RETI) conference held in Orkney in June 2015 hosted by the Institute for Northern Studies.

The RETI conference is an Island Studies conference. It includes theoretical and empirical contributions from researchers around the globe who study islands and insularity and its environmental, economic, social and cultural aspects.

Conference theme 2015: "Impact of culture heritage on economic development in island destinations".
