On Thursday 11th August 2016, I along other colleagues invited UWS applicants to visit the School of Business and Enterprise to give them an insight into our innovative Undergraduate Programmes. Attendees had the opportunity to get to know each other, meet course leaders, hear from UWS student entrepreneurs and have fun with some exciting Lego challenges. In particular, I was in charge of the organization of the LEGO Workshop, delivered by a facilitator from the LEGO corporate company. In the region of 40 prospective UWS students participated in the workshop. The activity was organized to unleash ideas and to stimulate a critical discussion around ‘University Life’. Each of the participants built their own model. The facilitator formulated the challenge in the form of open-ended questions, which the participants answered through their model building and story-telling.| Period | 11 Aug 2016 |
