Experimental Lab for Businesses

In order to support regional SMEs, an experimental lab was organized by UWS in collaboration with Hillington Innovation Center. It took place on Wednesday 11th March 2015 from 9:00am to 3:30pm at Hillington Park Innovation Centre, Glasgow.
The Experimental Lab was a one day workshop led by Professor Piero Formica, from Johns Hopkins University and founder of the International Entrepreneurship Academy. The workshop was also developed in collaboration with Professor Martin Curley, Vice President at Intel Corporation and director of Intel Labs Europe. The workshop involved 30 people including entrepreneurs and senior decision makers from different professional backgrounds and sectors in the Renfrewshire area. The scope was to create the first embryos of innovative business ideas and to gain access to some of the leading insights into the innovation process.
