Description
This 2-hour event is held between local STEM Ambassadors (being one of them) and teachers to foster meaningful discussion around how STEM Ambassadors can support ‘The Gatsby Benchmarks’ in school as well as learn more regarding best practice.The Gatsby Benchmarks are 8 criteria that each school, both primary and secondary have to include as part of their careers provision. By working with STEM Ambassadors schools can reach the following benchmarks:
- Encounters with Employers and Employees
- Learning from Career and Labour Market Information
- Linking Curriculum Learning to Careers.
