The international Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Embedding Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Teaching, Learning, and Research in Higher Education”, was organised by the Centre for Faculty Development, VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, affiliated to Bharathiar University, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education, India. The programme was held virtually on 10th April 2025 at 6:00 PM IST via Google Meet.This session provided an enriching platform for meaningful engagement with fellow educators on the pivotal role that higher education institutions play in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The discussions encompassed integrative approaches to pedagogy, curriculum development, and research methodologies that promote sustainability-oriented thinking and practice within the academic sphere.
