    Description

    Alicia, Ronnie and Roderick managed an interactive display showcasing some of the parasitology research being carried out at UWS. The first activity demonstrated the relationship between use of contact lenses, improper hygiene practices and the development of Acanthamoeba infections in the eye.
    A second activity highlighted the scientific basis for designing new drugs against parasites such as Leishmania based on differences in the cellular components.
